Women are a blessing on the planet. They make this planet a better place with their love, compassion, and kindness. International Women’s Day is here! It’s that time of the year when we celebrate all the lovely women around us. As I sip my last cup of coffee for today, I can’t help but express my gratitude for all the wonderful women around me. They are incredible and I have learned so many valuable lessons from them.
Growing up, I saw my mother being filled with empathy and communicating the right way to make things better. She taught me the importance of both. Women, in general, are often perceived as being more attuned to emotions and skilled in communication. It is a key to connect with others on a deeper level by being present and empathetic. Learning to listen and communicate effectively helped me to strengthen my relationships and build trust.
Women often juggle with multiple roles and responsibilities, yet they understand the significance of taking care of oneself amidst various obligations. Whether it’s through practicing self-love, setting boundaries, or finding time for personal interests they simply ace it. My sister Liz taught me self-care and balance. It is through her that I slowly started unraveling the joy of loving myself and balancing both life and emotions.
Aaliyah has taught me to love unconditionally without letting expectations come in the way. That way love can be free and beautiful. Love is liberating! She has helped me to understand the essence of partnership as well. “It’s a team of two, we should always remember!” She always reminds me.
Women often face societal pressures and stereotypes that require them to be strong and resilient. My friends Kate, Megan and Donna have inspired me with their ability to overcome obstacles and maintain a positive outlook. This has empowered me to navigate through the difficulties in my own life with strength and determination.
These are just a few! I am telling you, I have uncountable reasons to be grateful to them. But, for now I am going to pay all my attention to the surprise that I have planned with the other boys for each one of them. It’s time to make it memorable for each of them. I will ensure that they feel special and have the widest smile on their faces.
