Get up and get going! October 11 is the day you decide to conquer all you need to. It’s ‘You Go, Girl’ Day, which means you go and you get that promotion! You can do anything you set your heart out on. This day is here to give you that extra push of motivation that you might need to get through the week. Tell all your girlfriends what day it is by sending an encouraging card.
Before you leave church on October 12, don’t forget to thank your clergy for all they do as its Clergy Appreciation Day. Whatever your denomination may be, someone has been there for you every Sunday. They haven’t let you down so tell them how much you appreciate them and their services. Send a short note or a sweet card. Words are the greatest and most heartfelt of all gifts.
While we are appreciating the people who have taught us, we can also appreciate a different group of people who have taught us in another way. On October 16 the entire world celebrates Boss’s Day. Perhaps you were one of the lucky ones to gain an incredible boss, who leads and drives you to achieve greatness and love your job. Send a short email expressing gratitude. .
Look we have another occasion to enjoy on October 13 as Canada celebrates its own kind of Thanksgiving. It is a day of gratitude for the year’s harvest which commences in a similar way to that of the better known American traditions with football and parades.
So do not forget to appreciate all your girlfriends, your clergy and your boss while celebrating Thanksgiving with the Canadians.
