My Dear Brothers, Sisters and Friends,
First things first… Merry Christmas! I wish you and your family be blessed with good health and luck all through the year and year after year. Love you, folks! I am also in the crossroads of my life and definitely need some blessings. Wish me too
Okay, now, let’s embark on our weekly merry ride!
Merry Christmas [Dec 25]
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all things acknowledge Him,
and he shall direct your way.”
[Proverbs 3:5, 6]
There is a supreme being and that being guides us in all our ventures and adventures. Love God as He loves us.
Everything will be alright with the world then.
May God Bless you and your family this Christmas and always!
I take exactly five minutes to get ready. I put on a pair of jeans, a T-shirt and am done. Aaliyah take 30 minutes. Megan takes 45 minutes. Steve takes zero minutes. He doesn’t change. He walks into any event with what he has on.
Dressing up our Christmas tree took around half a day. Heard of too many cooks spoil the broth? Well, I saw that happen practically at my place, but we didn’t spoil it. It came out jus’ right. That’s what I would call Spirit of Christmas! Two girls were leading us (Megan and Aaliyah) and obviously, you can’t go wrong with that kind of leadership.
It was a chaotic ensemble, but a rewarding result!
I am sure you too would have amusing incidents that happened on Christmas Tree Light Day… Mind sharing it to me? I can use a good laugh!
Steve was born on Christmas. He is quite proud of that fact and doesn’t party on that day. He visits the church and stays sober all day. Well, that doesn’t mean we don’t have fun on his big day. Amid all the religious fervor, we take time to dress up Steve as Santa and of course, he has to load himself up with gifts.
You see, he is the only birthday boy in this world who gives gifts to others on his birthday!
We have quite a bit of Christmas Fun at his expense!
At last, Kate found what she wanted to do with her life. Prayers are in order for her!
She has got this amazing new venture and we all wished her success. It is so nice to see someone who is close to you on a career path that they dreamt about. She listened to her heart and I respect her for that.
She made it a point to visit the church and thanked the Lord for the good fortune bestowed on her.
I take this opportunity to wish everyone who is celebrating Christmas Around the World. Make the most of the day by being with your loved ones and pray for the well being of this world.
On the way out, do visit Editor Bob’s Blog (Mondays and Thursdays) and leave a comment. I would like that.
Take care.
Bob
B., I do know about the deadly habit of cigarette smoking. I have an elderly friend who has emphysema. Smoked much. He can no longer go out to dinner when he feels like it as his cough is constant and his eyes tear along with his nose. I understand his desire to smoke as I once smoked long ago in my late teens and early twenties. I had quit then and have not smoked again except for the occassional cigar at parties. Whatever you do, don’t smoke. It’ll kill ya…
thanks for this helpful, kind newsletter, B., best, L.
B., And yes, you hang with friends, be with people who don’t hurt you or others. They understand love. Good friends are hard to find, too. Because unfortunately the majority of people out there are hurtful, they thrive in cruelty and hate. I wish this were not so. But a good friend is a precious gift. kisses to you, B., L.
