My absolute favorite time of the year is here! Halloween is on October 31. The word Halloween means ‘hallowed evening’ and it first originated in 1745. It is dedicated to remembering all the faithful departed souls.
How will you be spending your Halloween? Perhaps some trick or treating?
I plan many assorted activities around Halloween that I only get to do once a year. This year I am going to dress Donna’s kids in age appropriate costumes and take them trick or treating. We will play pranks on each other and watch scary movies.
We also plan to visit haunted house attractions. Every year I pick a new venue of hauntings to get my scare on and that eventually ends up being a frightful evening!
Days before Halloween I go apple picking and look for a perfect pumpkin at the patch. I carve pumpkins to create the perfect Jack-o’-lantern to frighten evil spirits.
As Halloween is on a friday night, there is most certainly a costume party I will be attending. The party will include eyeball cake pops, fake spiders, hot dog mummies and scary ribs. I have to find the perfect costume to make my grand entrance!
