Cheer up day is a perfect reason to catch up with friends and loved ones and make them smile. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our own daily lives that we forget to slow down and bring smiles to special friends who may be feeling a bit down.
Heck, just the other day when Kate was having a bad day, I sent her an ecard and wrote, “Hugging you in my thoughts.” We all know how dramatic and emotional she can be, so it isn’t shocking that she cried. But it wasn’t tears of sadness, she cried because she was so happy. It was just a simple card that didn’t take me too long to send, but it turned Kate’s entire day around. It is amazing what a little thought can do.
If you know somebody who could use a pick-me-up or a good laugh, take the time this week to send cards, give a cheer up hug, tell your friends forever “let’s giggle together” by retelling happy memories, or send a basket of July flowers on this day.
Just after cheer up day is full moon day. It is a day to be romantic with your sweetheart underneath the brightest moon in the sky.
Whether you are a friend or this is your first time reading my newsletter, I’ll kick off this week of cheer by hugging you in my thoughts and wishing you a week of happiness and well-being!

B., Kate is so fortunate to have you as a friend. You really do bring a smile to my face every time I read of your kind gestures to your friends and family. It is good to know that a person so sweet as you exists in this sometimes cruel, cold and heartless world. Thank you for the warmth that you bring into Mother Earth. L.
