I miss the world where I could talk to friends, mouth to ear, looking into their eyes and not through a mobile phone.
I miss walking. I really do. I have a zillion choices to choose from now to commute. I would prefer walking.
I miss sending post cards and long letters with pictures inside. I miss the smell of the paper and the ink. I miss doing calculations with a calculator. I hate using the computer.
I hate the high rises. I would rather watch the sun set without having to crane my neck to get a view.
I miss the open spaces. I hate the infrastructure. I hate watching kids play baseball in a video game. And they even love killing each other playing violent games on those machines. Heart saddens knowing that they wouldn’t ever know the pleasure of running in the woods, talking to nature and growing up as a kid should.
I miss the way families and friends used to get together on any excuse. No one was too busy. Everyone had some work to do then, but again there was always time for a get together. Now, there is none. Seems like everyone works 24×7 and complaining that there are only 24 hours in a day.
I miss the way the dinners were, once upon a time, without any mobile phone interferences.
I miss the way love was all about the heart once.
I miss the smiles that were innocent in those days.
I miss the good old days, do you?
