Sweetest Day falls on the third Saturday in October, which is celebrated by distributing candies and sweets and remembering the sick, the aged, the orphaned children along with your kith and kin. Send greetings, flowers and sweeten their life by sending them a sweet assurance of your presence and wishes. The relationships and people we spend our life with define who we are towards creating special friendships with people who look out to alleviating pain instead of inviting troubles. Stay away from the drama. Cheers to you on this special day!
It all started way back in 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. There lived a candy maker Herbert Birch Kingston who had a big heart. Kingston created this year to do something meaningful for those who are less fortunate. Along with his committee, he distributed over 20,000 boxes of candies to old folks and orphans. His philanthropic efforts live on and now it’s upon us to let the sweetness he spread reach out to the many hearts who’ve got embittered and all messed up.
This day is also special for those who are in love. This is an opportunity to express one more time in the sweetest ways, which will have them yearning for more of you.
