With the spring equinox just around the corner, I decided to give my office a bit of a “spring clean” and I was happily surprised at what I found tucked in one of my drawers.

There in the corner of my top drawer was a handmade Happy Spring card that Donna’s daughter, Emily, had made for me last spring.

The front of the card had a pressed flower, and inside Emily had carefully written in colourful handwriting, “Have a Happy, Super-Duper Spring!”

I couldn’t help but smile. Flowers that make you smile at the beauty of life are what the magic of spring is all about! And it reminded me just how important it was to spread this magic for this coming spring.

I wish I had the artistic streak in me (and the patience) to make pressed flower cards like Emily had done for me. Unfortunately, my clumsy fingers can barely hold a scissors to cut in a straight line.

But that’s not going to stop me from spreading the magic of spring by sending everyone spring ecards!

Doubling the joy this week is also Let’s Laugh Day coming our way on March 19th, just the day before spring equinox. Let’s Laugh Day is a wonderful reminder that no matter how tough things are or how many things you have to do, that you can always have time for a laugh to cheer you up instantly.
