As for me, I’ve started cleaning up and keeping away all the decorations. As I pack up the boxes of decorations, I feel like I’m packing away the year that has been. And my mind starts reflecting on what my New Year resolution will be.
After much thought, I decided that my primary resolution this year would be to start a gratitude journal. Yes, every night before I go to bed, I will write down everything in that day that I am thankful for.
Not only will it be special memories of everything I am grateful for, but I also have a diary of things I appreciate whenever I want to send someone a thank you ecard!
Speaking of thank you ecards, now is a great time to send New Year thank you greetings to the people in our lives, especially when we have so much to be thankful for in the past year.
Want to be a little more creative in your thanks? Here are some ideas.
Since January flowers will soon be in bloom, why not express your thanks in style with flowers for friends or even flowers for love? After all, nothing quite says “thank you” more than bright, cheerful flowers.
Or if pretty petals just aren’t your style, you could also just say thanks with a big hug!
The wonderful thing about gratitude is you can express thanks any way you want. So lets take this special moment to express our thanks for the year that has been, and the year that will be!
