This week, 123Greetings is hosting an office Christmas party. As per office tradition, the staff is playing Secret Santa in the week leading up to the office party. Do you know that game? It’s where each person becomes an anonymous “Santa” to someone else, leaving them nice surprises around the office. Then, everyone’s Secret Santa will be revealed at the Christmas party!

I don’t know who my Secret Santa is, but he or she sure is doing a great job!
This morning, when I walked to my desk, I found my morning coffee prepared (just the way I like it!) with a red ribbon bow tie tied to the mug handle. Later in the day, I received a funny Christmas fun ecard of a groovy hip hop Santa!
How could that not put a smile on your face?
But my favourite part of Secret Santa week is giving. I managed to sneak in an early Christmas gift into the drawer of the person I’m playing Secret Santa to. Seeing the gushing look of happiness on her face when she opened it was enough to make my day!
You should try it. Yes, join us in playing Secret Santa this week. Choose anyone you like, maybe somebody at work or someone in your life.
It will be so much fun! There are so many things you can do. You could leave surprise notes on their desk or anonymously send Season’s Greetings cards simply signed, “Your Secret Santa”. Your imagination is the limit.
And the best part is you’ll find that the act of giving itself is a gift because of the joy it brings. And isn’t that the true spirit of Christmas?
So, join us and play Secret Santa this week and tell me how it goes in the comments below! I’d love to hear more from you on how you helped spread spirit of Christmas around the world.
