George Bush included it in the Axis of Evil! And now Obama says it has chemical weapons and is using it against its own civilians. Yes, ladies and gentleman we are talking about Syria!
War clouds are visible and it is a depressing thought. It is déjà vu all over again! Unlike last time in Iraq, here the fight has already started. Proxy war is being waged with weapons support being offered to both the government in charge and the rebels by their allied countries. One thing is clear United States of America has to act and all that needs to be seen is how would we do it?
It could opt for limited air strikes which are being talked about by pundits on the television everyday or it could be allies ganging up and striking the core in a full blown war… No idea.

Whatever it is, this one is again going to be a long haul well drawn fight. Meanwhile, the images of children and adults alike clothed in white and resting dead on the floors in multitudes does warrant a reaction.
Time for peace I am sure is lost. Flowers are replaced by ammunition.
Atrocities from both sides are being documented and there is no end in sight. If one of them wins maybe we can sit together and chalk out a peace process then on. But for now, the killing has moved from killing each other to killing civilians.
And that should not be tolerated seems to be the world opinion.
War is futile and there are umpteen examples every single day we see of it. We haven’t seen one good example of war where it brought peace. Still, violence is the mode accepted by all to win over others.
Gandhi and MLK won through love.
I guess, no one reads the history books anymore.
