Asiana Flight 214 hits tail first, skids and catches fire and of the 300 odd passengers and crew two were killed. Of course, the lives lost are incredibly sad, but the miracle of 300 or so passengers is what makes us glad.
Crash landings such as these where fire is involved too the chances of survival is not rated high. Given the fact that a lot many survivors around 120 plus just walked away without any injuries is nothing short of a miracle. Some may believe it is because of the prayers, logical seating or just plain luck.
Whatever you may call it, miracle I think would be the right word.

Talking about miracles Andy Murray finally broke the 77-year-old jinx and ended up as the Wimbledon champion for the British. It was a match watched and cheered by the whole nation including its Prime Minister David Cameron from the Royal Box.
Well, the only glitch maybe is that Andy went up to hug everyone and sundry after the win, but forgot mom Judy. Family first, Andy!
It was a match that was captivating from the word go and the fortunes tilted to Andy’s favor as he was on a mission to win. He knew he had brought his “A” game on the day and it would be a disaster to lose given the form he was in.
Talking of one miracle, Pope John Paul II seems to be entering sainthood as the miracles performed by him have been acknowledged and accepted. The world can debate the miracles and the ascendancy, but there was never a doubt that this was a good man who had a very successful reign as the Pope.
Miracles do happen every day and I would urge everyone to always hold onto the hope that if everything else fails there is always a miracle!
