I like this time of the year. Candidates go against each other in the GOP race and the stakes are real high. I like the way Mitt Romney and Santorum clash against each other on debates. It makes for a gripping watch and feels good that finally they are talking about the welfare of us.
Nice to know someone cares for you. Maybe that’s why there are governments.
Tangentially, I would like to think family has parents who take care of their children with lively debates every other day. I hope and pray that single moms and dads find time to talk to their kids.
A dysfunctional family breeds a dysfunctional society. It is not easy to raise a child and care for him or her if you are not sorted out yourself.
Maybe that’s why people want the candidates to be sorted out themselves in their head before they take up position to sort out our issues.
We don’t leave anything to chance when it comes to our own profit and goodness of life. Same way, we shouldn’t leave any stone unturned before choosing the right candidate for the long fight.
It is not easy doing what they do too.
Give them their due empathy, but be vigilant to their past and present failings.
No one is perfect, but we need someone who is as perfect he can be.
He must be humane, caring and who is good at his work.
That’s all.
