My dear brothers, sisters and friends,

Life is punctuated with moments and days that bring happiness, calm and uninterrupted joy. Eid ul-Fitr is one of those days. I wish and pray to Allah that you and your family be blessed with peace and love. The best part of the day apart from the obvious is the sharing of love. The hugs we share and the wishes we wish for each other make this a unique event. There is oneness in this and there is yearning for happiness for others not just us.

Eid Mubarak [Aug 9]

Imraan, joined our workforce one good day last year and he is one of the most polite and ever-smiling pleasant young man I have met in my life. He has this infectious discipline that I envy. He prays five times a day, finish his chores for the day and then be ready to jam with a guitar when we beckon. All of this he does with a smile. Remarkable. A man who is blessed and who has completely given himself to his God can only behave in such a way. And don’t forget the Eid treats he brings our way. Yummy!

I am sending him a card out to greet and it would have Eid Mubarak written prominently and am sure he would smile once more!

Family [Aug 9]

In our multi-cultural world, it is inevitable to not come across colleagues and good friends from Islam. The curious thing about them is their brotherly camaraderie and of course, their inviting family. Everyday I visit one of them at their abode, I end up being treated like a chief guest. I was proud, thinking that I am that special guy they reserve this kind of treatment for, but to my surprise found out that every guest who walks in is treated at par or better than their own folk. Such hospitality and the family bonding has naturally made me close to their families. Today is the day I am sure I can give back something to them: A heart-felt wish on their good day. I am sending across greeting cards from our staple to make them feel special.

Floral Wishes [Aug 9]

Roses are the definition for romance. That’s what I thought until I met Imraan. He introduced me to the beauty of love being shared among his kin and kith with flowers that are in full bloom.

The beauty of the blessing and wishes shared through roses was heavenly in feel and the reciprocation by those received was a sight to behold.

Beautiful days are accentuated with something that is unique and sweet and this day is made fragrant and fun with a good bunch of flowers.

Religious Blessings [Aug 9]

Peace, Happiness, Faith

May the choicest blessings of Allah be with you!

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

Eid Mubarak!

Take care,

Editor Bob
