Digging my nails in my tiny palms
I was inscribing my fate…
When suddenly I was turfed off the warm cocoon…
Into the realm of many incitements,
Startled by the separation
Traumatized by the sense of sudden I-ness
Noisy tears covered my profile…
Bathed, cajoled, caressed, enveloped in a light flannel cloth
Not so warm…
I felt abandoned… lost and flushed…
Until I found my way back to the warmth of my mother’s arms…
Until I lay on her bosom and quenched my longing for life…
for dreams… for reality… for existence…
Until she wrapped me up in her cloak
of strength and I felt safe to explore…
The many worldly charms…
O’ Dear Mother I am a part of your imagining…
You are my source…
I am your heart…
throbbing outside your body
You are the voice in my head
that sets me free from fears…
We are inseparable!
