Supporting Same Sex Marriages

Send Love EcardsIrina’s political campaigner boyfriend, Alex, has a new mission these days. Alex has been actively involved in organizing campaigns to mobilize support for a same sex marriage activity group. With David Paterson, the Governor of New York City, introducing a bill to legalize same sex marriages in New York City, his work has increased manifold. This has strained his relationship with Irina. He can’t make out quality time with her anymore. She’s been unsuccessfully trying to get to meet him, but on most weekends he brings work home and keeps the phone off the hook.

Irina thought of visiting his pad, but Megan advised her not to. “If he doesn’t want to talk to anyone on the phone, do you think he’ll be happy if you turned up?” she reasoned. Irina accepted the logic in that. With Alex being more conscious of his public image and his work, their relationship seems to be heading nowhere. Workaholics really have a troubled personal life, don’t they? Do you have to deal with any workaholic? How have you handled it? Do you have any insights that you want to share with Irina?

I suggest , she should tell him that somehow she always knew that it will be very difficult for him to put her in his busy agenda. She should also tell him that she is taking for granted everything that happened in her life from the moment she met him and that she knows they will be always there for each other and that that special connection means a lot to her.

But she is also aware that she is pushed into fight without having received any real support.

Irina, this to shall pass: my suggestion, let Alex do what he needs to do.. Im sure he is not feeling any better about not being able to spend quality time with you; he has his work, his carreer by the sounds of it, and if you chose to be with him, you chose to be with him for everything, including what he does,.. Is it truly quality time you are looking for or Quantity? Let Alex ride the storm he is in, and maybe if you ride it with him, you will get each other through it hand in hand.. Good luck Irina… I hope you will perserve; and hang in there..

I agree with Rhonda. To love someone is to take the person as a whole. One would only have the well-being of the other in mind, rather than asking for time together.

B. Ha, deal with a workaholic? I think I may be one. I love to do my work. I find pleasure in it and my husband and friends understand. I think branding a person a workaholic is wrong. What is wrong with shutting down that damn phone or computer and squirreling yourself away from the rest of the world and working? More people ought to do it. It’s invigorating. Retreating from the hectic world is a good thing and not a disease. All friends, partners, and what not that love you understand that. As I understand if they do the same. It’s fun to go into to your private world. Been doing so for years.

He should know that there will be always someone that is and will be praying for him.

Carrie Prejean, Miss California, is reported to have lost the Miss USA 2009 crown because she answered that for her, “a marriage should be between a man and a woman.” Judges on the show have been “saddened” by her views. What do you think of her views? Do you think it’s the reason she lost the Miss USA 2009 crown?

I believe marriage is only between a man and a woman. Marriage is a sacrament in the church and has a definition. That definition is not optional nor is it subject to change. I have lots of friends, and not one of them would be in favor of homosexual marriage. Not too long ago, such behavior was illegal. I believe it is a sin. I would not be mean to anyone but they should keep it private. I resent having it “in my face” all the time.

It really does not matter what I think. God’s opinion is all that is important. Too many marginal sexually persons are victimized by so called doctors who really do not care about the people they treat. They end up misguiding them to do whatever will bring in the most revenue to their twisted practice!!!!!!!! It would be better to treat the person in a reversible manner first. ( a voice of expierence )

What do you mean, my comment is awaiting moderation? It doesn’t need moderation. Are you into changing what people say?
