Dating On St. Patrick’s Day

Send St. Patrick's Day EcardsSt. Paddy’s Day is not about bar hopping and getting drunk! If you set your mind to it, you can make it an incredibly romantic day. St. Paddy’s Day is all about having fun and letting go of those worry creases. How about doing it with your partner? Adrian is going away downtown to have a nice time with Cathy. You can take a leaf out of his book and do the same. You can collaborate on some plans with your partner. You can ask your date out with a beautiful bouquet of flowers done up in red and green. You can head to a quiet place where you can have a nice dinner with some soft music in the background. If you want to have a blast, make sure you cross-check your St. Patrick’s Day plans with your partner. You wouldn’t like to bar hop with her when she has a headache!

St. Patrick’s Day is about fun, but make sure you give her enough of your company. If you are out together and not without friends, you need to give her your time and not spend the time focussed on having a good time yourself. Remember that it’s a date, and it being St. Patrick’s Day, the event should add to the charm of the date, not take away from it. Be composed and attentive, and at all times, maintain a restraint that is more likely to be out for a toss when you see all the partying around you. It’s okay to let go, but when the two of you are out together, it’s better you keep that sense of togetherness intact. For more dating tips on St. Patrick’s Day, write in to me.

Inspirational Monday: Executing Best-Laid Plans

Send Inspirational Ecards“A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.” -Robert De Niro

How often have you laid out plans only to see them fold up in a haze of confusion? More important than the plan, if you ask me, is the timing of the plan. There’s no point in thinking out a great full-proof plan only to realize that it’s become obsolete because the time is not suitable anymore. If you have a problem on your hands that has to be addressed, the best way to go about it is to make a plan that is not too complicated. Simple plans are the best ones when it comes to execution. It’s a great help if all your worries are taken care of at the planning stage.

You have to be confident of your plan. If you don’t believe in it, nobody will. You have to be sure that the points on your agenda page are achievable. As I said, timing is of great importance. You could be facing some problems from quarters that you didn’t expect. These variables will always be there, and there’s nothing you can do to cancel them out. At the same time, you cannot make them stalemate your plans and take you to a dead end. The trick is to take these in your stride and move on. Have you made plans that went awry? What did you do then? Chime in.

Mr. Belvedere Is Back!

Send Everyday EcardsMr. Belvedere was one of my favorite sitcoms. It may not be that popular as Friends, but people like me would still swear by the adventures of Mr. Belvedere. Adrian told me the other day that they are launching a DVD edition of Mr. Belvedere where you can watch all those favorite episodes all over again! Now isn’t that fantastic. This Mr. Belvedere reminds me of many wonderful moments that form a really golden time of my childhood. That set me thinking. Some of these shows and songs form your childhood memories and these make an indelible mark on your life.

Mr. Belvedere was also Liz’s favorite show. She liked to see the British characteristics in the figure of Mr. Belvedere. When I told her the news she was ecstatic. She wants to get a copy of the DVD as soon as it comes out on Mar 17. She thinks and I think so too, that Christopher Hewett is a great actor. If we analyze these childhood memories with our mature heads now, they may seem foolish, sometimes even ridiculous to think that we liked a particular show or liked a certain actor. But these likings are a definite part of what you are and how you see the world today. Is there any show or song that you liked as a child? Would you like to share with us?
